Our Story
Buffalo Grill started the way most great things do — with a passion for good food and a community that deserved better. In Hugo, Oklahoma, we built something from scratch: a place where the smoke was real, the portions were honest, and everybody left full.
Hugo is home. It's where we learned our craft, earned our regulars, and figured out exactly what Buffalo Grill was supposed to be. Slow-smoked meats, hand-pattied burgers, scratch-made sides, and a menu that doesn't cut corners.
When the Hochatown area started booming — cabin rentals, weekend getaways, people pouring into the Broken Bow area from all over — we knew it was time to bring the smoke north. Our Broken Bow location on US Hwy 259 opened to serve the thousands of visitors and locals who needed a real meal after a day on the lake or in the woods.
Two locations. Same pits. Same recipes. Same Buffalo Grill.
What We Stand For
We don't rush the smoke. Every brisket, every rack of ribs, every pulled pork shoulder gets the time it needs. That's not a selling point — it's just how it's done.
Our sauces, rubs, ranch, and sides are made in-house. You can taste the difference between something made with care and something that came out of a bag.
We believe in big portions, fair prices, and food that actually fills you up. Whether you're a Hugo local or a Hochatown cabin guest, you leave full.
